Dining could not be more elegant when eating on dupioni silk. Pattern features four versions measuring 14″ by 19″. Pattern uses dupioni silk though any solid fabrics would work well. Timtex interfacing gives the placemats their professional look.

Silk recommendations: we do not recommend washing the dupioni silk before making your project. It takes some of the shine out the fabric. Also, our fabrics requirements are based on 42-44″ wide. Washing dupioni silk shrinks it considerably. For care instructions, we recommend spraying finished items with Scotch Guard. These place mats should be considered for fine dining and not everyday use. You may have them dry-cleaned if necessary.
